Lieu horrible. Tout les parfums sont derrière les vendeurs qui doivent te faire sentir les parfums. Les vendeurs sont odieux. On te demande de faire la queue devant le magasins mais c’est pas clair les gens sont confus et se dépasse les uns les autres car il n’y a pas de délimitation claire sur l’endroit où faire la queue et surtout pas la place.
Expérience abominable.

Our team recently visited Scent Bar for an olfactory research trip, and we we got lucky having Rose guide us. She expertly walked us through the different perfumes, explaining everything from ingredients to scent profiles, and even asked about our personalities to help find the perfect match for each of us. Rose was not only super knowledgeable but also incredibly patient, answering every question we had. A huge thank you to Scent Bar NYC and Rose for hosting us—we can't wait to visit again soon!

What a gorgeous store! You will find every scent you could ever want, and even some you didn't know you needed. My associate, Rose, was exceptional. She was so thorough, teaching me about each of the profiles of the scents, offered some killer new suggestions and gave me a list that I'll definitely be coming back for. Can't wait to stop in again.

Absolutely adore this place. Rose genuinely understood what I was looking for 80% of her recommendations are SPOT ON. I ended up buying 3 full bottles from their store and their website later on.

The line when I went on a Saturday afternoon was pretty long and I had to wait for 20 minutes, but it was worth the wait. When I went on a Thursday right before lunch, there was no line, but the store wasn't well staffed so I actually ended up having a less good experience.

I went to the Scent Bar today for the first time. It was an excellent experience! The young lady that helped me was very knowledgeable about the perfume notes and even the perfumer. She gladly helped me with smelling all of the scents I was curious about. This welcoming attitude was much nicer than the behavior I encountered at another perfumery down the street.

After exploring some different scents, I purchased a bottle. It came with 2 samplers! I’m very happy with my experience and my purchase.

A lovely & well organized store! I had a great experience here and didn't deal with any of the crowding that other reviewers describe, but I went earlier in the day. Talking with the staff, it seems like they've gone viral on TikTok and have much larger lines later in the day!

Phoebe was incredibly helpful during my visit– they were more than happy to pull some bottles for me that I'd been interested in trying out instead of blind-buying & also had some great recommendations for similar scents from different brands. Would visit this store again just to shop with them & their expertise!

Awesome place if you’re a vocal extrovert into sniffing niche perfumes. They have so many and they are mostly organized by scent categories. I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity in such a small space. The issue I have with the store is that it’s like a bar; all the scents are on display behind a counter and the employees help you with them. I’m not a bar person-I’m an introvert who likes to be in their own world when sampling scents. The employees were nice but focused on the customers with bolder personalities than mine- understandable. I will go back again but maybe during very quiet times and when I feel up to being more social.

If you're visiting the NYC location you MUST do research in advance and bring a list of what you want to smell! Staff was overwhelmed and the space is small with no ventilation. Almost all scents are behind the counter, so you will need to interact with the associates and take part in a 1:1 shopping experience.

The women were very sweet but the male associate was pretty mean and patronizing to everyone who came in. Amazing selection but not a fun experience at all, especially if you're not in the mood to be chastised. If you can take a little bit of bullying and know what your are looking for, I would say it's still worth a visit!
