I have used this store 3 or 4 times over several years and always been satisfied. Recently I got them to repair a Samsung phone and change a battery in an old Samsung Galaxy pad. I had almost given up trying to find a place that would do the latter. Both done in good time and perfectly satisfactory results.

I went there to fix cracked screen of my new samsung a20 but they swapped my good battery with swollen one during the process. When they initially fixed screen, the screen size was smaller than the original as well. I had to go back and speak with the manager to get it properly fixed again. But after few days back of the phone started to open up. When I took it back they just put more glue on top of it to prevent it from opening. But it kept opening so when I repeatedly visit their store because of the problem they just gave me a clear case and told me to stop coming back because of this issue. The phone I gave them to fix was a brand new phone with very good battery. Now it turns off randomly at any battery level. Now I can't even close the back, let alone use the phone. I realised too late that they changed the battery. I paid them 150 for the job which is only 50 short of cost of the brand new a20phone but now its useless. They are not retailers but theives. Don't ever go to that store

If I could give 0 stars I would ! This place is full of schemers ! I went to this place In need of a screen replacement and a data transfer between 2 phones. It took them 3 hours for them to “transfer” my data for them to eventually tell me they couldn’t do it. They charged me $200 for a new screen to take home and do the transfer myself. I was guaranteed a refund as I will be returning the screen as long as it was in good condition. I go there the next day for my refund and the guy was going to take out a data transfer fee even though he didn’t do anything. He told me it was common sense that they would take out a fee.apparently they charge you $80 for your phone to sit on charge for 3 hours. I had refused to leave without my full refund. The guy told me it was an mis communication and that he should have mentioned that it wasn’t a full refund . Absolute worse service and this place should be shut down for fraud and incompetence

terrible quality, fixed crack on my phone then my phone wouldn’t turn on received my phone back and the screen cracked again while i was holding it

Most disgusting service I have ever received. I took my phone in to have the screen replaced. They charged me $380 only to make me wait hours for it. Straight off the bat one of the men working there was asking to go home with me!! I went back after a few days as my phone would completely turn off for 10 mins or so. They replaced it again. It happened again. I took it back and received some pretty rude remarks from the old bald man that works there. They replaced it once more but now the touch screen doesn’t work properly and I have to switch my phone off every 20 seconds. It also calls people, takes screenshots, takes photos, types messages and cancels my maps. They said if I want a refund they will only give me $300 and a completely broken black screen that I will have to take to Apple to get fixed. Absolutely disgusting, if I could give 0 stars I would.

I wish I had of read the reviews first, would have saved myself a lot of hassle. I took my wife’s iPad in because it suddenly stopped working. I was told it would be fixed in 2-3 days and the cost. Brought it back the next day and gave it to them to be serviced. A WEEK later I get it back, sorry we can’t fix it. If you want anything basic, like a screen protector, they are passable, but for repairs, go anywhere else.

Please do not buy from this store. Their products are cheaply made and when they don’t work they refuse to refund your money or accept responsibility for poor quality products.

I purchased a tempered glass screen protector for an Android Tablet from this store last Friday 1st July 2022 at a cost of $35.00.

I have fitted several screen protectors in my time and understand that they require a certain level of precision to be fitted, however, the screen protector I received from this store was of inferior quality to say the least. No alcohol wipes or cleaning cloths were provided with the screen protector so I had to use my own. No receipt was provided for my purchase either.

After prepping the surface as you are supposed to, I carefully peeled back the protective film and laid the protector over the screen. Bubbles came up everywhere with one large bubble (about the size of a 50c piece) in one of the corners being impossible to remove. I had to lift up the screen protector twice to try and fix this severe bubbling and it was on the second attempt that the screen completely shattered in my hands for no reason at all.

I immediately returned to the store the next day and was there 15 min before opening time. I waited another 15 minutes past opening (half hour in total). Nobody showed up. As this was a special gift for someone and I had prior commitments, I could not wait around and ended up purchasing a quality screen protector from JB HI FI which was significantly easier to work with and obviously better quality. I have no bubbling now at all.

Due to work constraints I could not return to the MCA store until today. They have two stores in Merrylands Stockland Mall. One upstairs and one downstairs. I had purchased the protector originally from the upstairs kiosk so this is where I went today to return the faulty item and was told that there was no refund and no warranty and that I would have to speak to the manager who was downstairs. I went downstairs and was told to come back in 15 minutes as the manager was not around.

When I finally got to speak to the manager and explained the situation, he just blamed me for installation and told me it wasn’t his problem. When I told him that under consumer law if a product is faulty or unfit for purpose, that the customer is entitled to a refund, I was once again told that it wasn’t his problem.

He expressed a complete disregard for my experience and customer entitlements under consumer law and clearly was not interested in repeat business or good customer service. I told him to put the screen protector in the bin and that I would never shop there again.

Paid to have my LCD and screen replaced, colour quality was not great then I got home and within the hour my phone screen turned black and I cannot see anything or even turn the phone off.
Would not recommend but I will go back for them to fix it free of charge when they open. Poor quality and cheap product used for $240.
