I recently bought a couple of suits from Nordstrom in Northpark, and I can't praise the experience enough! This store has been a part of my life since I was a little kid, going there with my parents, and it has always maintained its impeccable standards. The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with the best products.

What truly sets this Nordstrom apart is the exceptional staff. They are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly cool and approachable, making shopping a pleasure every single time. Compared to Neiman Marcus, this location stands out as my preferred shopping destination, offering a consistently superior experience.

Nordstrom Northpark continues to exceed expectations, and I can't think of a single negative thing to say about it. Highly recommended!

!!!!OMG!!!!! Nordstrom, thank you for your amazing service. Thanks, Shezi, for providing me excellent service on the Refill of my ALL TIME FAVORITE PARFUMS BY MARLY---VALAYA. This scent has been life changing, my all-time favorite. I get nothing but compliments in every building I walk into. People tell me I have half of our mega church smelling amazing. I recently came out of the restroom at church and at a group of ladies waiting to tell me I looked and smelled amazing!!! Shezi, thanks for making me samples to share with my sister, who is now onboard with Valaya. But even taking the time to explain why Valaya is different, which is why I like it so much. Thanks for even offering to do an event for church ladies or friends who may be interested. Your service is amazing, and despite Notthparks awful parking. I look forward to my next bottle of Parfums by Marly---Valaya . It's AWEMAZINGLY REFRESHING !!!!!!

Selection is somewhat limited and a bit chaotic. Seems better to order online for pick up. My main issue is with the aggressive car sales in the men's suit section. I know they are commission (one explicitly told me and handed me his card) but they are too much. At a certain point I just had to be rude and tell them to go away because they could not let me just look without swarming me for a sales commission.

Vivian in the cologne department did a wonderful job helping me select two separate Father's Day gift sets. They were doing complementary engraving on certain brands. Those two ladies engraving were very professional and pleasant!

We have visit this location multiple times since it's my daughter favorite store, and after waiting for salesperson for almost 15 minutes we were approached by Kathleen who went above and beyond to find exactly what we were shopping for and making our daughter the happiest person today. That store needs more dedicated people like Kathleen and the service she provides.

Sorry Nordstrom has been amazing for the 10-15 years my wife and I have shopped there. But sometimes you can have such a colossal mess up that it negates all of the good in the past.

My wife recently ordered almost $1000 worth of items for the anniversary sale online. One of many over the years. One of the items, a Dyson Airwrap $500, was not in the box yet listed in the packing slip. Look at the box in the picture: an airwrap would not even FIT inside the box they sent us.

Of course we weren’t too upset because we knew how great Nordstrom was about refunds and returns. That’s why it came as a complete surprise when they flat out, rejected us twice after two different live chats and emails explaining the problem.

There was no package tampering, and I have no suspicions that someone during the delivery process took it out of the box because as I said, there’s no way one would fit in THIS box (see picture) . Somebody screwed up on their end and they are not willing to make it right.

A company that big should have systems in place to backtrack and make absolutely sure when a customer says an order wasn’t in the box that it was actually packed. Maybe you have camera footage of the people packing the boxes? I’m not sure. But according to Nordstrom, they did an investigation and the result of the investigation was we’re not getting a refund.

So beware if you’re ever going to order from them. If you know my story and still order, there is literally no way you can safeguard yourself from this happening to you. You won’t know your left high and dry until after you receive your package and will get no recourse. It is your word against theirs .

Thank you for replying. We did that already. They denied after. But we are about to go to the store in person bringing our box along with the new box with the second Dyson air wrap that we ordered to replace the missing one. When both are set side-by-side, it is pretty obvious one won’t fit in the other, so hopefully Doing this face-to-face and the store will give us a better result. I will update my review accordingly.

EDIT: went to store and they escalated it again. We noticed a refund the next day. Thank you!

Normally, Sundays at the mall aren’t particularly busy, but today was an exception, and it was nice to see more people out shopping. I’ve been a loyal customer of Nordstrom for years, always enjoying my visits. However, today’s experience with a sales associate was quite disappointing and overshadowed my previous pleasant encounters.
I approached a clothing sales associate near the brand I was interested in, eager to purchase a set of clothing for my upcoming international trip. I greeted her with a cheerful “Good afternoon” and asked how she was doing, excited to shop for my trip. To my surprise, her response was curt and dismissive, which took me aback. I understand that everyone has a job to do and can be busy, having worked in retail myself. However, dismissing a customer without making eye contact and assuming the items I was interested in were part of a sale is simply unacceptable.
Despite my initial enthusiasm and readiness to splurge, her attitude soured the experience. I proceeded to the “sale section” she mentioned, only to be informed by another employee that the items were not part of the sale. This employee then redirected me back to the original area, explaining that the items might be online exclusives, even though the app indicated they were available in-store. This inconsistency was frustrating.
Not only did the initial sales associate’s unnecessary attitude cost me time, but it also seemed that basic customer service protocols, such as a simple greeting or a smile, were not being followed. This experience has certainly left a negative impression.
