My friend left me an elderly Ellliot compass that had belonged to his father. Unfortunately it fell out of its leather pouch and the glass front cracked. I wanted to get it repaired and it definitely needed a service and ideally a polish. Cooke’s were able to do all that was needed. I attach photos of it before and after it was repaired. I am more than pleased with the end result. Mike Silk.

Having retired from the Merchant Navy, I wished that the sextant I used as a cadet 45 years ago was restored and bought back to a working instrument. It was returned after a short interval, immaculately cleaned, matt black frame repainted, new mirror and with the case sanded and all brass work cleaned. Super job. Highly recommended.
