Dr Zachariah P. Zachariah is the best cardiologist I have ever experienced! He takes time to listen and review reports and patient history. He is kind and thorough. I had a serious problem and he suggested a surgery method I'd never heard performed by his colleague at UM Hospital and my recovery is much easier than it would have been otherwise. His staff is fabulous from reception to nursing and medical assistants. I know numerous people in the area who feel like I do. Dr. Z.P. Zachariah is the best!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went to see this dr after being referred due to having heart issues postpartum, and dealing with lingering postpartum preclampcia. He yelled at me my whole office visit that I was on blood pressure meds while nursing my baby and told me he couldn’t treat me unless I told him I’d never get pregnant again. He offered no solution or real help for me whatsoever. The office ordered an echo on 10/9/23 and when they called me to schedule it I asked for it to be withdrawn I am under the care of a new cardiologist. Here I am over a month later (11/15/23) and the echo order still hasn’t been withdrawn. I spoke to Anjura in the office who lied to me and said my insurance doesn’t require authorization and she’d get back to me by the end of the week. I called my insurance and they told me that was a lie, when I called back for help she was rude to me. I would NEVER recommend such an unprofessional practice to anyone I know. Dealing with heart issues is scary especially while needing your health to take care of your new baby. This office has no compassion, or care and it’s very sad

Dr. Zachariah lowered my Cholesterol and Triglycerides to normal levels, after decades of extremely high and chronic highs. He is very caring, experienced, and highly recommend.

These photos seem to be 15+ years old. Was Not positively impressed with this cardiologist. Even though I was recommended. Walked out hopeful, When back to obtain guidance for a significant heart issue or status. After obtaining the results of many test respectable testing. Thus my huge concerns, upon my follow up ; I REALIZED he was DISMISSING my real and post test results as if the data was not alarming. To be fair, I got a call from an Asistant few days later. Only to informe me that “ I WAS OK” I had no issues. “ I WAS OK ! Aid explained. ALARMING!!! To say the least. When the results of the exam in part small positive , in the long term part; very, very NEGATIVE for me the patient. At that point I realized he never read my exam results or any of its VERY HIGH RISK CARDIO STROKE patient.
Whether it was good or bad, I’ve not ever posted info about any medical service. Being the son of medical professionals RN and MD. I became very concerned. Thus changing cardiologist care Immediately ‼️‼️.
In review of my experience, He as a specialist Professional was very short, dismissive as if I was some knowledgeable person of little knowledge. Maybe others may have better luck. I will not trust my health in this person hands.

Be very careful using Dr Zachariah. I was referred to his office from my primary Dr. I confirmed with his office that he accepted my insurance. Then I got a bill two months later and my
insurance it's because he doesn't accept my plan. I've gone around and around with the insurance and his office. I'm still stuck paying.

Dr.Mammen Zacharia, a cardiologist who cares about his patients. Dr. Zacharia scheduled a Chemical Physical Stress Test and 40 minutes after exam he called with my fathers results. It was such a good experience that their are still good physicians out there that still care about their patients. We had a great experience. Great staff, always prompt and professional. I will definitely return for an exam for myself and family. I also highly recommend Dr. Mammen, he is a professional with a good sense of humor.

Feels like I wasted A LOT of time. I am unsure how much info/background/awareness of an issue is looked into a patient before their appointment but I was referred to a cardiologist by my primary Dr. when the EKG test they preformed came out abnormal. I live in Miami and I was scheduled to have surgery within two weeks, Dr.Zachariah's office was the closest and only one available to take me in such short notice. I drove 40 mins to get there and paid my copay. Once there Dr.Zachariah did not take his own EKG test, took a look at the printed one I brought from my primary Dr. said I was generally healthy, suggested to just lose some weight, then referred me to get an echocardiogram on another day/time/location? What was the point of this visit that I drove 35 miles and paid for? I couldn't believe this was not part of my original appointment with Dr. Zachariah. Everything that was asked and communicated could of been done over the phone since there was no actual test performed. I took longer trying to get an echocardiogram scheduled at a hospital with help from administration at the front desk than I spent in the waiting room + speaking with the nurse and Dr.Zachariah. Getting all test and results to each of the doctors and places being referred to in time to get medical clearance in time for surgery was another stressful adventure. This comment is not based on Dr. Zachariah's competence as a medical doctor, I just feel that my situation was handled lackadaisically, which really infuriated me.
