I was under the care of this doctor for 4 months and was told on 2/5 that I have M.S. I was given several brochures and was told to read them. After a one round of Ocrevus and my guts intuition. I sought a 2nd and 3rd opinion, it was discovered that it was a MISDIAGNOSED. I am grateful for Carefirst care team member and Georgetown Hospital for both confirming that I don't have M.S. I won't begin discussing the effects of this and the medication side effects.

First experience with Dr. Simsarian today and experienced the absolute worst bedside manner from this doctor. As we were discussing my symptoms at my first visit ever from this provider, he seemed annoyed with my responses and did not want to listen to me as the patient. As someone whom is going through the beginning stages in this journey, this is NOT what someone in my position would ever want to be put through.

My wife and son have been patients of Dr. Simsarian for over 10 years. He is a leader in the field of Multiple Sclerosis/Neurology. He is very personable and works to find the best care for each patient. This often makes him run late for appointment times. However, I know when I'm the one who may need extra time and attention, he gives it. This makes waiting the extra minutes worth it. He also commits himself to patient education by running free, "newly diagnosed" support groups, free condition-specific seminars (which often include a free meal at an area restaurant), and a free annual seminar. The annual seminar brings together other experts and vendors, all to provide direct access to the most current information from the various professionals and services, which his patients need. I'm always confident in his knowledge and personalized treatment plans.

Beyond grateful for having found this practice. Dr. Simsarian and the entire staff at NCF are just outstanding. I would be lost and in awful shape without them. I can’t say enough good things about NCF and can’t find the words that will do justice.
