When going shopping in LA, Maxfield is always my first stop. My wife and I have been treated like family by Jesse (best salesperson in the city) and the entire staff there. Not only that but their impeccably curated selection never disappoints. 10/10 best shopping experience I’ve ever had time and time again.

High end and very welcoming. I got the perfect gifts for the holiday season. The team were very professional and knowledgeable. I felt very safe with the stores security detail, being used to my own security detail when I travel. I absolutely loved the art and sculptures also. I endorse Maxfield a great part of LA history.

Absolute shockingly terrible service.
After checking in, security had me wait outside in 85 degree heat for 15 minutes to finally enter the store and find nobody inside except 5 sales people all talking amongst themselves. The team is so rude it’s hard not to be rude back. Forget spending money here, just go to the main stores on Rodeo where you will actually find customer service that reflects a high end shopping experience. This staff doesn’t know the first thing about how to capture a client base or provide an adequate sales experience. 100% the Rudest sales people I’ve encountered in a luxury store EVER.

Store is nice. 2 stars for the awful service. The female sales person with curly hair treat me is totally different from my friend. She broke in the fitting room without asking me at first. And always talk with my friend (maybe because I’m a woman but my friend is a man.) it bothers me a lot. And when I left the store she didn’t remind me to take my shopping bag (she took my shopping bag purchased from other stores and kept in the front desk when I entered the store) I bought a pair of shoes but when I left the store she didn’t told me that I can come back next time without reservations but she told my friend so. It’s really a bad memory.

Pretentious place with extremely annoying and rude staff. The sales woman followed us the entire time we were there. It felt like we didn't fit in, after half an hour of waiting in a queue to enter. And except for some interesting pieces of jewelry, everything else you can find in any other store with high end designer brands.

The guard is very friendly and atmosphere is nice, but the saleswoman Barbara attitude was terrible and shows no respect to the customers. She always reacted very slowly after she heard we are just for browsing, and pretended not to understand us and I had to ask 3 times the same question. Also she said some bad words in the store very loudly. We don’t want to be there because of her terrible attitude and not professional. Hope it can be improved 🙁

Bought some things. Had them shipped out of state. They charged local tax even though I bought at the store. I spent 25 mins there and someone stole my umbrella.

VERY poor experience due to the help of sales associate JOSEPH GURROLA at Maxfield. This review is mainly aimed towards his unprofessional and rude behavior towards customers.

This week, my friend and I stopped by and made the mistake of dressing casually without wearing any jewelry or high-end brands. As a result, we were given condescending looks and remarks from the salespeople. Their laziness, judgement, and attempts to pressure the feeling of needing to ‘prove’ to them you can afford items in the store made us walk out after 5 minutes. Their inventory isn’t all that great either. We didn’t see one thing we had to have. The only positive Maxfield has is the security guard at the front. The few times I’ve stopped by he’s always been nice.
