Good store. Always busy. They got rid of diet orange PC soda which is why it went down a couple stars.. Love their price matching however. Gas station here as well.

My wife and I went shopping here last week and I noticed that the Hickory smoked flavor burgers were out dated. It had the date Jan 2/24. I brought it to the attention of guys who were putting away the meat. It looked like they were taking them out of the shelf. Today we went back being Feb 2/2024. We noticed that they are back on the shelf again. Exactly one month expired. Should have taken them off the shelf or put a good discount for sure. Everyone needs to be watching the expired dates. They sure charge enough not to have expired food. Apparently Heritage meadows has the same issue. You have to feel bad for the new CEO of lawblaws cause he just received a paltry 22 million for his first 6 months on the job.

Visiting Calgary from Texas. Great selection and prices. Perfect store to buy general merchandise including souvenirs.

Cashier was warm and friendly. She took the time to explain the liquor was in Canada which are very different from where we come from.

Most of the times everything is great staff very friendly, but today I decided to go to the self check out and I asked before I went in because I didn't know if I could with a cart, it was obvious I had more than30 items in it. The two Asian ladies where kinda rude to me I know they need to make sure people are not stealing but seriously they were literally so rude, and I don't know if it's a language barrier or what but they would check on my bag and said "you didn't scan" or there were still items on my cart and say something like "you're hiding this". I didn't say anything cause they're mature ladies and I'm a respectful person. But it wasn't a pleasant experience today. Please train staff for better customer service.

Today I went to your store at 130th (between 12:30-1:30). When I went to use the self checkout I did as I always do. Scanned my card, selected the "green bin" button on the screen and then started putting my bags in their appropriate spots. Halfway through, the person minding the self checkout came up to me and told me "You need to click this button" (the one I already had). When I told her I had already, she then pushed the button on the screen.

She then said "Ok, click the button".... She removed what I had already done (which was correct) and then told me to do it again.

She then stood back with a smile like she had accomplished something. The only thing she accomplished was wasting my time and making me appear to be ignorant.

This is the THIRD time this person has done this to me. I'm not sure if she is doing it with others but I really don't appreciate my time being wasted while being implicated as stupid so she can feel a "job well done".

If someone has an issue or needs help, I understand. I also understand making sure people are not stealing goods. I do NOT understand people who are having no issues who are just going about their day being harassed by employees.

I usually enjoy my shopping trips. Every other employee has not done this to me. If I walk in and see this person working the self checkout in the future, I will turn around and go to Walmart (which is right across the street) even though I have been shopping there since 2020 and no other employee has given me issues.

So... If you're from MB, you would know how our liquor stores are managed by our government.

This place is so facinating to me! Well kept, clean, maintained the same ambience within it's company, and NO LINE UPS TO GET INSIDE! No wait to get inside, and I felt so safe, welcomed, and the people working there are so friendly, informative, and helpful.
