I love this place, they have so many beautiful crystals and interesting witchy things to look through. I really like that they have a wide range of prices so if I can only spend a little there are still some cool things I can get. Really cool place to stop in if you're in the neighborhood

After visiting the shop once again I was finally given the chain back! It was lost in the back of their cupboard as it wasn't in their basket with all of the others. They have stopped doing the repairs and cannot get a replacement for this specific chain. They also never had the equipment to repair the chain in the first place. I am pretty upset that it took 7 months to have absolutely nothing done about this. I think that they should go through all of their customer requests once a week or every two weeks to give them an update, even if the update is nothing just to let them know they haven't been forgotten about. Something needs to be done about that lack of communication and complete unreliability. The store itself has beautiful items and a good selection HOWEVER, I removed the price tag from an oracle deck intended as a gift and saw that there was an 11⁰⁰$ (25⁰⁰$ to 36⁰⁰$) price increase!! That was quite a sting as I bought them once I finally got my chain back. I am no longer going to shop there, I was going to soften my review and continue shopping because mistakes can happen, but this price increase is intentional, and a 44% increase?! Are you kidding me?! No thank you, I would rather take my business elsewhere. Literally anywhere else. This business can barely pretend to care about their customers, look through the other reviews here, full of gaslighting and manipulation, accusing them of having negative energy, well guess who created it! I have never in my life been so disappointed by a business, let alone one that is supposed to promote healing and prosperity.

My partner got me a necklace here that I absolutely love, unfortunately the chain broke and the owner offered to replace it and took the old one to recycle. That was almost 6 months ago, he has reached out on three other separate occasions, the staff had zero clue what we were talking about, but wrote down his info and said they'd get back to him, and every time we reach out they still had absolutely no clue what we are talking about and/or it was a brand new employee etc. We have the pendant and are still waiting. I'm worried nothing will be done to fix my favorite necklace and I'm not sure if I'll shop here anymore, I'm feeling really let down ? this used to be my favorite store

My FAVORITE store in Nanaimo!!! I especially love the new layout- the vibe is so inviting and calming! The new owner, Stacey, and staff are so kind and helpful! They have an AMAZING selection on stones and crystals. I am obsessed with amethysts- and they have such beautiful ones! I add a new one to my collection with each visit! It’s also my go-to place to get unique gifts and cards (stones, GORGEOUS jewelry, books, lavender sage….so much selection)! I HIGHLY recommend!!!!

I’ve been in and out of so many Metaphysical Stores and always left feeling defeated and unhappy. But Lobelia’s was like a dream. A kid in a candy store. I couldn’t believe all of the amazing trinkets, crystals, oracle decks and everything a witch could dream of! I couldn’t help it, myself and my boyfriend went a little crazy. Spent a lot of money but SOOO worth it! The girls are amazing, helpful and just really beautiful huamns!

We just moved here from Ontario and we're missing our crystal shops back home, we were very happy to find this place on Google and we just had the chance to go and check it out in person. Please see below for my reasons for the low rating.... picture attached of our purchase.

Pros: absolutely beautiful shop, lots of treasures to discover and a large variety of incredible trinkets, from crystals to books to everything you need for cleansing & smudging

Cons: chaotic energy and very loud atmosphere. The customers were talking loud amongst themselves and the staff was even louder. I had a hard time trying to pick any crystals out as I typically do it intuitively but I was bombarded with the chaos around me. We're use to shopping in places that are a bit more quiet so you're able to connect with what's around you and that wasn't possible here (perhaps shopping on a weekday might be better). It was more of a stressful experience than we're use to so hopefully today was a one off.

Used to be such an inviting store with very knowledgeable staff. The vibes are so off now. Staff are not very helpful or friendly and their education on minerals is lacking. Over priced and a lot of the material is low/mid quailty.
