Stopped in at Tools and Tech to repair the broken screen on my work iPhone. Joe was about to close for the day, but still offered to do the repair for me on the spot. He fixed it quickly and at a reasonable price. Friendly, fast, and affordable service. I'll be back any time I have a tech related issue.

Asked him to fix my Samsung a52s's screen. Went to pick up the phone and the screen he used was an extremely cheap aftermarket screen, with bad colours and a low refresh rate. He said he could put back the original screen and I said alright. Two days later I go to get my phone and find he cracked the back panel of it, and didn't bother using clamps when applying the glue so there is a gap in the back of the phone. I will need to find someone else to fix the phone, and it will cost even more now since the back also needs to be replaced. Don't bring your devices here.

"It's an OLED, I don't have any other info" is not what he said when I called. I wanted to make sure that he wasn't installing some cheap display so I asked about specs, to which he just replied "yeah". This is the reason I brought the phone to him. I wasn't just looking for the cheapest option, I was looking for the cheapest option which would use a decent display. I was mislead. The display installed had a red hue, and very low refresh rate. It was unusable.

When I mentioned replacing the glass myself, I was making conversation, and telling him why I want the original display thinking he might find it interesting that this repair is possible. I wasn't trying to act "smug"

I left this review because he broke my phone back and didn't reassemble it correctly the second time, both points which are still completely valid despite the unprofessional reply to my review.

Got my Xbox Series X HDMI port replaced in less than 24 hours for a very cheap and fair quote compared to other places! Cannot recommend this place enough, Joe is highly professional and knows what he’s doing! Awesome customer service. Considering the complexity and technical expertise required to essentially disassemble and reassemble a new Gen modern gaming console, Joe’s competence will assuredly carry over to any tech repair job you may need! Very laid back guy who does not demand a flat diagnostic fee upfront unlike other shops.

Cannot recommend this Tools and Tech enough. Thanks Joe for your great service!

I bought all the parts for a nice pc build in 2020, took it to Joe and he built it for me and I haven’t had a problem since. I’ve also brought my wife’s pc in after heating issues and he fixed it no problem. He’s quick and efficient, he knows what he’s doing with tech and I’ll only bring my stuff to him.

An excellent and efficient end to a long day of building!

I hit a snag with my new PC build (issues with registering the boot drive, "scary" red indicator LEDs on the motherboard), wasn't sure about next steps, and was too tired after working on it all day to keep at it myself. Joe had it all sorted within an hour, explained the issue fully at pick-up, and even tidied up loose ends by getting drivers and the OS installed so I could just get my tower home and finish setting up.

I feel like I not only received excellent service, I also learned how to fix a pretty straightforward problem for next time. Given what a common issue this is (I had found the solution online earlier but was too nervous/frazzled to proceed on my own at that point), I appreciate that I was treated with respect and understanding rather than spoken down to (which I have experienced elsewhere), especially since this is only my second build and I'm still learning.

10/10 will return for any future issues!
